Who we are

ColegauCymru is a post-16 education registered charity that raises the profile of further education colleges in Wales. We are a not-for-profit member-led body established in 1995 by colleges, for colleges. There are presently 12 colleges in Wales that are paying members of ColegauCymru.

Fforwm Services Limited is a Private Limited Company registered with Companies House and is a wholly owned subsidiary of ColegauCymru.

Acting as the collective voice, we represent and promote the interests of colleges and post-16 education, and work closely with members to advocate on behalf of the FE sector.

We represent colleges nationally and influence Government and its agencies on policies affecting the sector and their learners and staff at national and regional levels.

ColegauCymru  is the first port of call when seeking information about Welsh colleges. We also work with colleges in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

We have now published our Impact Report July 2017 - August 2018 which highlights our dedication to serving learners ambitions, and our commitments to enhancing colleges' national and international reputation.
